We're very proud to have added this future brood jennet,"Mooney" from Flight of Fancy Miniatures in New Hampshire! She's extremely well bred, colorful, correct, and a delight to handle and love. Her sire,Ass-pirin Acres Spectacular, has consistently produced colorful foals that are heavy boned with very correct legs, and beautiful heads.

Mooney won the color class at the 2008 Texas Shoot Out, expertly shown by Kathy Loudamy. Mooney also was named the 2008 Pacific Crest NMDA Reserve Junior Champion!

Shazam has an extremely wide chest and rear, has a gorgeous head, and a beautiful set of legs. This great little donkey was trained and shown by Kathy Loudamy at K&K Ranch. Shazam hated to be body clipped so her show career ended early. The two times she was shown by Kathy she placed third in NMDA Foals at Halter class at the 2005 Dallas State Fair out of a class of fourteen and was again 3rd in a huge foal class at the 2006 Houston Livestock Show.

Prudence is a wonderful producer and two of her foals are currently herd sires. In addition her 2007 jennet foal, KKR For The Love Of Grace by Sunset Acres Rowdy Yates placed 3rd in the huge 2007 NMDA National Foal class. Sunset Rowdy Yates also sired the 2007 NMDA National Junior Champion, KKR Isabell.

Prudence has a great personality. She sneaks up on us and demands attention and will gladly shake hoof to hand. In May 2008 Prudence delivered our beautiful black jennet, JF Patience. Patience is a real keeper. Prudence foaled 5/10 and surprised us with a spotted jack by Circle C Highlite.

A few weeks after arriving from Texas we hauled Rosey to Eugene, Oregon 2008 where she placed 3rd in a large class. In 2009 she won the 2009 Oregon Mule and Donkey Show NMDA 2 and 3 yr old jennet class out of 12. Rosey and RG are designed to produce small, correct, and athletic foals.

7/19/10 FLASH!!! Short Assets Rosita foaled a 20" light sorrel jennet by Flight of Fancy Cardinal RG.

We purchased Country Music's Jodi Miller in July 2007. She is by Country Music's George Jones who is not only a ADMS and NMDA National Champion, he has also continued his legacy by siring numerous national and world champions. She has a very feminine head, a short compact body, ample bone. and a round rear end. We are very proud to have her in our herd.

 

Foaled a small grey jack with a beautiful head and very correct conformation May 2009, and in 2010 a white spotted jennet with blue eyes. Jodi has produced the following foals

1. JF Cyrano De Bergerac (by Flight of Fancy Cardinal RG) 2009 gray jack sold as a future herd sire.

2. JF Betty White (by Circle C Highlite) 2010 spotted jennet with blue eyes.

We purchased "Lissy" in August 2007. She is the sweetest ever, and loves to be scratched and doted on. Originally from Chapel Hill, Tennesee she is close to the furthest traveled donkey we own. Lissy has the cutest head and is very square. A great ambassador to the breed, Lissy recently visited an adult day care and made sure everyone had a chance to pet her and feed her a little treat.

Sugar is by the legendary jack The Fireman and we are proud to add this wonderful little jennet to our breeding herd. She is very correct, stocky, has a nice round rear end, and a beautiful head with big brown "jersey cow" eyes. To top it off she is just as sweet as her name implies. Currently Sugar is in foal (due March 2011) to Ass-Pirin Acres Spectacular who is the sire of one of favorite jennets, Flight of Fancy Hang The Moon. Sugar has produced sorrel and spots and we are excited to cross her with RG in the future.

We had the good fortune to purchase this "Dynamite" jennet from White Hawk Farms during a driving clinic by Wayne Lyons. Her stout strong structure and big bones, and great heart are just the beginning of a list of attributes this young lady has to offer. Miniature donkeys were originally bred to work and this lady looks the part. In addition she placed 3rd out of 23 as a yearling in the Red Bluff, California show. Tinga has been bred to Circle C Highlite and we look forward to this foal with great anticipation.
